- 1/3 cup cacao butter
- 1/2 cup avocado oil
- 1 tsp vitamin e oil
- vanilla essential oil
- orange essential oil

- Add the shea butter and cacao butter together. Heat in a double boiler until completely melted.
2. Combine the avocado oil in the melted butters and heat until warm too.
3.Once everything is warm, add in the vitamin e oil.
4.Transfer to your mixer bowl and put into the fridge for 30 minutes or so until it has thickened, but not fully hard.
5.Take out of the fridge and add in the vanilla and orange essential oils.
6.Whip the body butter for 5-10 minutes. Be sure to scrape down the sides and mix it thoroughly.
7.Put into an air-tight container.
- This recipe uses orange essential oil, which can make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. So be careful when you put this on and go outside.
- The vitamin e oil will help your product last for 3-6 months, or even longer.
