I recommend having a beauty routine that allows our skin to be beautiful, youthful, and glowing all the time
and with healthy habits, this can be super achievable.
BUT… Some days when we don’t like how we look, our skin feels dry,
and we want to boost that Natural Glow.
These easy Glowing skin tips will make us feel more confident and comfortable
with our skin when using makeup or going to a special event.
The Next Glowing skin tips are perfect for maintaining healthy and
Glowing skin on those days where you feel skin flaky and out of place!
In case you don’t have time! (who has it?)
You can totally opt for the Fake glowing skin Makeup (later in this post)
And this trend is for everyone lately!
However, Is always best to enhance beauty from the inside out
and give attention to skin health as an extreme priority.
Let’s begin!
How can I make my skin glow naturally in one day?
1. Exfoliate your Face to get that Glow
The Skin naturally accumulates dead cells on the surface, making it look patchy, flaky, and lifeless.
An excellent glowing skin tip is to exfoliate your skin regularly!
(Just be careful with overdoing it; skin professionals advice to exfoliate the face 2-3 times per week,
but this depends on your skin type and condition)
I try to exfoliate my face 1-2 times a week
some weeks just 1 time some weeks 3 and definitively,
there are weeks where I just let my skin product-free, including the exfoliator.
If you have sensitive, dry skin: Exfoliate 1-2 times a week
If you have oily skin: Exfoliate 2-3 times a week
(Only if your skin can tolerate it)
You can do a Natural face scrub with Olive oil and sugar Before your regular Skin Care PM routine.
I love Natural Skincare recipes,
but I always want to be sure about what exactly that ingredient does on my skin,
Dermatologists often recommend chemical exfoliation, particularly with formulations like a 2% BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid) Liquid Salicylic Acid Exfoliant, as a superior option for those seeking smoother, clearer skin.
Unlike physical exfoliants that use abrasive particles, chemical exfoliants gently dissolve the bonds between dead skin cells, promoting a more even and effective exfoliation process.
Salicylic acid, a key ingredient, penetrates deep into the pores to clear out impurities and excess sebum, making it highly effective for treating and preventing acne.
Its anti-inflammatory properties also soothe the skin, reducing redness and irritation.
This method is considered more gentle and efficient, suitable for a wide range of skin types, including sensitive skin, making it a top choice for achieving a healthier, more radiant complexion.
2. Apply a Sleeping Pack!
Have you ever been introduced to the Korean beauty regimen?
Indeed, those ladies truly have it figured out!
Incorporating a Sleeping pack into your routine will undoubtedly transform your skincare game.
What’s the method? Follow your regular nighttime skincare routine, and then, as the final step, apply the Sleeping pack.
The sleeping pack is the last step you do before bed.
The next day, the first thing you need to do is wash it off with warm water and then do your regular AM skincare routine.
That extra step lock all the products, creams, and oils that you previously applied
and prevent them from evaporating from your skin during the night.
The result is just amazing!
You woke up with a soft, silk skin the next day in the morning.
If you have never tried this Korean skincare step, you need to try it to get Glowing skin overnight.

3. Follow the right Skincare routine!
It’s Incredible the things you can achieve, when you know your skin type and apply the right skincare routine for you.
Basically, you need to mix and match products based on your skin necessities,
and if you stick to your skincare routine, your skin can improve drastically!
Here’s the Skincare routine that is working AMAZINGLY for me
(I’m a combination skin type, dryer in winter and more oily in summer)
- Soap Free Face cleanser (Using a soap-free one is CRITICAL! for glowing skin; I strongly recommend and use this one by Bioderma)
- Face Serum (this Hyaluronic acid and Vitamin C serum is perfect for glowing skin!)
- Face Moisturizer (This one depends on your skin type, use a lightweight watery formula for oily skin and a thicker but not greasy one for dry skin)
- Facial Oil (YES, oil on the face! This step is great for Oily skin as well. Try this one to start)
Some days I use a Face scrub before my skincare routine, and I Always apply sunscreen at the end!
4. Glowing Skin from the Inside Out
To get more Glowing skin, we better eat all the colors!
Try that your plate contains a lot of greens, reds, purples,
and other brilliant colors on your veggies and fruits.
It’s amazing how daily habits build your entire life and determine your health.
Trust me, even eating a big healthy salad plate today will improve your skin tomorrow in some way!

5. Avoid Sugar and processed Foods (LIKE NOW!)
Based on studies, eating food like white rice, pasta, bread, sugar, etc,
that contains a High glycemic index may increase skin inflammation.
Eating this type of food is so tempting and delicious (I actually love rice).
However, it is not the best for your getting glowing and healthy skin.
What I do is I try to eat healthy all week (sometimes I cheat, haha),
and I take one day from the weekend to be my Cheat day!
So I eat what I want but am careful with quantity.
Actually, this eating style has been the major reason I don’t gain weight, but I don’t lose weight either, and I’m about 10 pounds over my “ideal” weight.
So, Resisting the temptation of these high glycemic index foods is the best practice here!
We need to resist the constant marketing that we all are exposed to
which promotes these foods as good and healthy.
Yesterday, I was starting to do some exercise.
It was my first day, and I put some music on the TV (YouTube),
I wasn’t even on my third exercise when a big HUGE pizza ad appeared on my fitness music video.
They try hard honey!
We need to be smarter.
now, let’s move to the next glowing skin tip.

6. Glowing Skin around your Eyes
Sometimes, we forget that the contour of our eyes is CRUCIAL!
I actually forgot to add my eye cream to the skincare routine above.
(Don’t be like me! haha) And pay attention to your eyes.
If you are in your 20s, you will be thankful by your 30s and 40s,
and go on if you start today to take care of your eyes, neck, and hands like the rest of your face.
Apply a deep moisturizing eye cream like this one at night to prevent early wrinkles under the eyes,
. restore and firm your fine lines, and look glowing skin the very next morning

7. Drink the life Beverage: WATER
How do you get glowing skin overnight? EASY!
If what we want is glowing, well-hydrated, and naturally youthful skin we need to drink enough water!
It’s VITAL for well-hydrated skin and a glowing look.
And I’m referring to plain water.
Avoid sugary beverages
and any other beverages that don’t contain 100% water.
I actually don’t even drink teas, juices, or milk, but this is just my personal preference.
Well, natural, no sugary teas are actually good; I’m referring to the iced tea from restaurants and those types.
8. Practice Beauty Sleep!
Sleeping your hours will allow your body and cells to recover overnight naturally,
so it’s super important to get at least 6-8 hours of sleep to get glowing skin the next morning.
It’s important to consider not going more than 10-12 hours (Babys and teenagers are not included here, haha)
because sleeping more than recommended promotes depression and bad eating habits.
Well, Not everyone has the opportunity to have 6-8 not even 6 hours of sleep, but if you happen to have the time, do it.
Its good for your skin and good for you in general
…” studies confirm the relationship between inadequate sleep and a wide range of disorders, such as hypertension, obesity and type-2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, impaired immune functioning, and more.”…

9. Get Moving!
Exercise improves blood circulation, and this promotes healthy skin!
Based on studies, taking at least a 30-minute walk every day is super beneficial to cardiovascular fitness,
strengthens bones, reduces excess body fat, and boosts muscle power and endurance.
And if you can, do it outdoors!
To refresh your body and oxygen your skin cells with nature.
There’s nothing more beautiful than connecting with nature
while getting that beautiful glow that you get after a workout.
10. Give yourself a Face Massage
I recently got my first face roller (I know I’m super late to this trend! haha),
and I just can’t stop using it since then!
It’s Perfect to reduce eye bags and promotes youthful, glowing skin when you apply your serum or face oil.
Use the face roller, gently rolling it for your face at night and morning.
The results are amazing! I love how it feels on my skin, it’s so relaxing, and I strongly recommend it for everyone!
What to eat for glowing skin?
Improving eating habits will definitively bring positive results not overnight but permanently!
We need to avoid some foods
and add others to our diet, slowly but constantly.

Easy Makeup Tips for Glowing Skin
1. Never Skip your skin-prep routine before Makeup!
(Check my guide on exactly what to apply on your face before your makeup for glowing skin)
2. Avoid Mattifying Primers.
To fake glowing skin with makeup, we need that extra juiciness that mattifying primers get rid of our skin.
Apply a dewy, hydrating primer like this one by NYX.
3. Use a lightweight, sheer-coverage liquid hydrating foundation.
Stay away from matte, heavy full coverage foundations because this time,
we want to let our natural skin glow to be the principal.
Of course, we don’t shine all over the face, but that’s when we use powders.

4. The concealer is the key!
We want to glow naturally but at the same time get coverage on
specific areas like under eyes, dark spots, blemishes, etc.
We are using a sheer coverage foundation,
but we want to opt for something full coverage for concealers but to hydrate at the same time.
An affordable but high-quality option is the Hydrating Elf camo concealer.
I’ve been using it for a while, and it’s a total dupe for the shape tape concealer!

Opt for a cream blush like this one instead of powder blush.
Here’s my guide about when to use powder blush vs liquid blush and how to use each if you want to check it out.
6. Contour and highlight.
When I try glow skin makeup, I often skip contour, and in case you want to contour your face, I recommend you opt for cream contour and stay away from powder contour.
Here’s my tutorial on how to apply cream contour.
On the other hand, HIGHLIGHT IS THE THING HERE!
If anything that we did before worked, this is the perfect moment to fake glowing skin!
Apply your highlighter (powder or cream) in the right glow skin areas like:
- top of your cheeks in the direction of your forehead and hairline
- the tip of your nose
- cupid’s bow
- and brow bone.

7. Set with translucent powder.
We don’t want to use compact powder, only set the areas that you don’t to be oily, like under your eyes and T-zone.
For this Fake Glowing skin, we don’t want to do anything crazy with face powder, like baking or applying a lot of products;
we want to set the makeup on the problem areas. (if you have very, very dry skin, avoid this step)
8. Finish your Makeup with a Glow dewy mist.
THIS STEP IS IMPORTANT FOR GLOWING SKIN AFTER MAKEUP.
This face mist by Mario Badescu is perfect for hydrate the skin and refresh your Makeup after powders!
